The pair of Common Iora is still busy feeding their host chick. The juv. cuckoo is never enough for food and kept chirping constantly. I saw the juv. can look for insect, caught and ate it. Several occasions I heard the adult Banded Cuckoo calling nearby. I am not sure whether the natural parents are watching their own brood or will they take over from the host parents and continue feeding their own chick once the Iora leave the juv.
On 29/4, we saw the juv. has been fed by the Iora. Don’t know when the Iora will stop feeding the juv.
