Long-tailed Shrike – nesting

This could be the last session I can see this pair nesting on this open grassland. They are clearing for new shoplots and houses.

I have to collect as many new data I can because I know this pair will leave once chicks are fledged. Lucky their nest is on a tree branch next to the old nest tree, otherwise all chicks would have died.

Attach show male watching the nest while the female is either incubating the eggs or sitting on young nestlings. I think eggs has been hatched because I saw male flew down to the ground to catch small black ant and took it back to the nest for the female. He left immediately after he delivered the food.
