I was quite surprised to have seen this bird near my backyard. Several years ago, I saw one at Orange Farm, Ampang. Since then I did not see again. It look like young adult and always very alert any birds approaching or passing by him/her.
This is the first record on this kingfisher sighted at Kek Look Tong.
